A little Christmas Cheer and a New Trick

This is my first LO using Spellweaver's products. They are fabulous, especially her pre-made clusters and frames! Anyway, I just had to share these photos of my niece and nephews opening their presents on Christmas morning. It was such a blast to spend the morning with them ;-)

The best part of this LO for me is the torn paper at the bottom - I am so excited because I actually made the ripped effect myself -- Woo Hoo!! I just added the paper from Spellweaver's kit to the template I made and presto! It may not seem like much, but it's pretty exciting to me ;-) I learned how to do this using the tutorial here at DesignswithRenee.

Crocheting Grandma

I am so excited by this LO, it turned out fabulous! I did have a little inspiration help from my mom, who is also interested in Digital Scrapbooking. My grandma really did love to crochet. She could sit for hours and just keep making new things. I have many special items tucked away that she made for me to use both now and in the future. She was the one who taught me my first crochet stitch ;-) While I don't spend as much time crocheting as she did, I have made a beautiful afghan that I use daily as my bedspread. Thanks for sharing your love with me grandma!

Another Winter Moon LO

Still working on that 2 page spread of my nephew - Haven't had a chance to finish it yet. Instead, I've spent the day trying to "organize" all my new scrapbooking files as there have been so many wonderful gifts with the Christmas season.

Since I didn't get the two page spread finished, I decided to post a different LO I had today. This is the last LO I made with BooLand Designs' Winter Moon Kit. It is a photo of my niece and oldest nephew right after my niece was born. I just adore these photos!

A little Flower Power!

It has been so exciting to have been accepted onto many the different Creative Teams recently. I'm learning so much just by playing around as I make my LOs. Just yesterday, I figured out how to make rounded corners on my photos and mats. Woo Hoo! Can't wait to see what I'll "learn" next!

Anyway, I thought I would share this lovely LO of my darling little niece that I just made the other day using Carolyn's (ScrapNTag) new kit - For Love of Rose. The kit was part of her special Santa Sak, but now it's available for purchase individually over at the Do It Digi store.

I'm working on a 2 page layout for my nephew using another of Carolyn's kits. I already have the first half done, maybe I'll get the second half done today and uploaded later.

Some Family History Layouts

As my name suggests, I really do love family history. I'll also be scrapping a lot of photos from other things, especially my niece and nephews, but there will be many family history pages too. So to get things started, I thought I'd post a few of my family history layouts I've already made.

Welcome to my new blog! I decided to create this blog to showcase the many scrapbook layouts I've been creating lately. Now that I've joined quite a few Creative Teams, I thought this might be a great place to help me keep track of what Layouts I have already posted and what's happening around the scrapbooking world.
