More Challenge Layouts for GingerScraps

So, some challenges are very inspiring to me and others not so much. These few challenges were not my favorites this month, so my layouts are VERY simple just so I could get them done.

I'm not really a big fan of changing my desktop all that often, and this particular template didn't do much for me, so I just had fun playing with a kit I haven't used yet.

Washington DC Vacation Layout

Made this Layout using the January Daily Download from Gingerscraps for the current challenge and to put together a scrapbook of our DC trip from this past summer:

And I was reading up on drop shadows on another site and learned some tricks about playing with the horizontal and offset numbers and I've FINALLY figured out how to get a drop shadow that surrounds a whole box or strip of paper without having to put more than one dropshadow on!! YAY!

My First Show-Off for Britt-Ish Designs

So I found another designer that I enjoy following. Every other week she does a 'show-off' challenge where if you send in a layout using her products she features it on her blog and you earn some sort of gift. I only had a short time once I found her to whip up a layout and get it submitted, so it's not my best, but I did make the show-off!!

Engagement Book Covers

I finished my engagement book gift from David's Bridal! It was tough to get it all in by the end of January, so I had to scramble and dig up so old stuff as well as some new stuff. I have credits for some of the items, but since some of what I used is over 2 years old I don't have all the credits for that stuff any longer.

I've been super busy trying to get all my LOs done. I finished a 20 page plus album about how Steven and I started for my David's Bridal coupon. I can't wait until it comes. I'll have to resave those layouts to put online before I can post them all here :)
